What is the difference between the three mask blends?

We’ve selected ingredients that complement and work together to give you the maximum benefit based on your skin type. All our masks are formulated from the purest clays in Australia and scented with a heavenly fragrance, uniquely created for each mask.

Purity is made with Australian Pink Pastel clay and is suitable for all skin types especially those who are looking for anti-ageing skincare. It is packaged in gold and has a fragrance like the blissful breeze of paradise.

Luminosity has a base of Australian Green Olive clay and made suitable for normal to dull skin. It helps to brighten, strengthen and rebalance the skin. It is packaged in silver and when you experience this mask, it will give you a taste of summer on your skin.

Clarity was created for those who suffer from dry and/or sensitive skin. It starts with a base of Australian Ivory/White clay and infused with Pentavitin for intense hydration. It has rose gold packaging and a fragrance inspired by the essence of nature after rainfall.

How do I use Bodibar as a mud SCRUB?

It’s super easy to use! After you’ve had a hot, steamy shower, turn off the water, because you know we are all about saving our planet. Gently remove excess water from your skin before using 1 x 25ml sachet and apply it all over your body. Using suitable pressure and circular motion to exfoliate effectively, remembering to concentrate on areas that love attention…aka knees, elbows, booty. A few minutes should do well and you’ll be ready to rinse thoroughly and pat dry and we mean pat, your body dry. You don’t want to wipe away all the goodness or stretch your skin for that matter!

How do I use Bodibar as a mud MASK?

This is our favourite way of using Bodibar and we recommend using 2 sachets. Start from the bottom and work your way up, applying a layer of mud all over. While you wait a couple of minutes for it to absorb, start massaging the mud into your hands and then massage your entire body. Take as long as you need if you are loving the experience. Rinse off thoroughly and pat your skin dry.

Do I apply Bodibar to wet or dry skin?

You can apply it to both wet and dry skin, however, we recommend you use it at the end of your shower/bath when your body is at its warmest and your pores are most receptive to allow optimum skin penetration. If you choose to apply it to dry skin, it’s best to wet your hands to make easier to spread.

How much mud should I use?

We’ve done the maths and have made it simple to use.  One 25ml sachet is sufficient for a body scrub and two sachets (50ml) work wonders for a full body mud mask.

How long should I leave Bodibar on my skin?

Each one of us has a busy schedule and this is why Bodibar was created. The idea is to give you a spa-quality treatment when you need the benefits but don’t have the time. All our scrub masks work from the moment you apply them on your skin. The longer you let them absorb, the better the result and of course the happier your skin will be.

However, for those times you want to pamper, turn your treatment into a 5-10 min mask.  Bodibar is safe enough to stay on your skin longer, so you can get creative and have some fun mudding yourself up. Try multi-masking for instance with a hair mask and a face mask all at once!

How will my skin feel after using Bodibar?

Your skin should feel sublime with noticeable softness and radiance but it’s the scent on your skin that will have you booking your next trip to the Maldives!

How long until I see results?

You will see immediate results of hydration and smoothness, however, prolonged use will see the structure of your skin begin to change as it repairs damaged areas and regenerates new cells to provide longer hydration periods and healthy, glowing skin.

How many uses will I get out of my Bodibar pack?

A pack comes with eight sachets which will give you eight Express Scrub treatments or four Ultimate Spa experiences. You can mix it up to your own preference.

How often should I use Bodibar?

You’re asking the wrong people, right?! We LOVE using it every second day, however, we tend to get carried away spending all our time in the bathroom! We do recommend you start with twice a week as a scrub and/or once a week as a mask.

Remember every person’s skin is different and it really depends on the skin’s condition. You will come to understand your skin’s demands shortly after using it.

Be warned, you may become addicted in which case we recommend a subscription to ensure you never run out! It’s safe to use every day if you are prepared for the most AH-mazing skin!!

When should I use Bodibar?

Anytime and any season! Many of us think scrubs are only made for the summer. Wrong! Winter is a major cause of dehydration, a period when we completely rug up and reduce moisturising. With your weekly Bodibar scrub and mask, you’ll be able to keep your skin healthy and hydrated under all those clothes. No more winter cracked legs!

Is Bodibar safe to use with my regular skincare products?

Bodibar is made from certified formulas and contains natural and naturally-derived ingredients, so it is safe to use with any other products.

Are the fragrances in Bodibar natural?

All the fragrances in our products are 100% naturally-derived fragrances and have been thoroughly researched and tested (not on animals obviously!) prior to use.

Can I use the mud on broken skin?

Bodibar is gentle to use from top to toe, even on broken skin. However, in the event that you are having a chemical peel, a fresh wound treatment of some kind or any severe medically treated skin, it is recommended that you consult your doctor first before using Bodibar or any other product.

Should I use Bodibar before or after shaving?

Bodibar is safe to use both before and after shaving and won’t cause any stinging.

Will my Bodibar expire?

Absolutely! But the good news is Bodibar has a shelf life of 2 years and up to 12 months once the sachet is opened.

Is Bodibar natural?

All our products contain natural and naturally-derived ingredients.

Is Bodibar cruelty-free?

Of course! We are 100% cruelty-free in everything we do. We only test on humans.

Is Bodibar vegan?

Yes. Our co-founder is vegan so we can’t imagine being any other way!

Is Bodibar gluten-free?

Yes. The other co-founder is gluten-intolerant so we can’t imagine being any other way!

Will Bodibar stain my skin?

No, but we do recommend you thoroughly wash your skin after application to ensure all traces of mud are removed.

Will Bodibar stain my towels?

We do recommend you thoroughly wash your body after using Bodibar, however, if you have missed a spot and stain your towels, simply use a stain remover in the wash.

Will Bodibar stain my shower/bathroom tiles?

We have thoroughly tested our blends in the whitest bathrooms and it completely washes away. Any spots left behind can be removed with a bathroom cleaner.

How should I store my Bodibar?

Bodibar can be stored anywhere in your bathroom, travel case, gym bag but as long as it away from extreme temperatures.  In addition, you can store the sachets in the shower, away from direct running hot water, using the Bodibar custom designed shower caddy. It keeps the product standing upright and can be attached to any tiled wall.

What are my delivery options?

For Australian orders, we offer Free Standard shipping via Sendle or Paid Express via Australia Post.

For International orders, we use the DHL network and offer Zoned Flat Rates for standard shipping or paid Express Courier via Australia Post.

Can I upgrade my delivery method after I have ordered?

Unfortunately, once your order has been paid and processed, we are unable to change your shipping method.

Do you ship to P.O Boxes or Parcel Lockers?

Yes, however since this type of delivery doesn’t require a signature, it will be delivered at your own risk. We will not be held responsible for missing orders once they are dispatched.

How do I track my order?

To track and check the status of your order, please Click Here and enter the tracking number sent to your email. Please contact the courier company directly to check on the status of your package.

What should I do if my order has not arrived?

To track and check the status of your order please click the link attached to the shipping confirmation email sent to your mailbox or visit the company directly and enter your tracking number. We will notify you via email when your package is in transit and ready for delivery.

Will I get charged for a redelivery?

If a parcel cannot be delivered on the first attempt, it will either be delivered to a nearby location for collection or made available for free redelivery.

How do I organise a redelivery?

If your parcel is scanned by the courier as available for re-delivery, and your email address has been used in the booking, you will receive an email notification.

This email notification will include the information required to arrange a redelivery – just follow the instructions in the email, or on the card that has been left at the premises.

It is important that you book a redelivery within the timeframe stated in the email, or on the card. This is because the parcel will be returned to the sender after the stated timeframe.

I can’t find the card?

If you don’t have all of the information you need to arrange a redelivery please get in touch.

Can I cancel my order?

Get in touch with us as soon as possible as we dispatch orders within 24-48 hours. In the likelihood that the package has been dispatched, send it back unopened and we will happily refund or exchange the goods less the cost of shipping.

I entered the wrong address, what should I do?

Get in touch with us as soon as possible as we dispatch orders within 24-48 hours. In the likelihood that the package has been dispatched, we will attempt to contact the courier for a change of address. Please note the courier will charge an additional cost for change of address for undelivered parcels with wrong/invalid address. Bodibar will not be liable for replacement or refund of orders with wrong/invalid address.
